What is the Commons?
The Commons, is not just a large building with spaces for sports, meetings, and organizations to call home, but is a “hub of difference-makers doing good throughout the city of Richmond.”
What does the Commons offer?
We offer various spaces for organizations and individuals wanting to host events from sports tournaments to conferences, and everything in between.
We want everyone in Richmond to have a safe and welcoming experience in any of our spaces.
Spaces Available
Basketball Courts
We have four basketball courts, two wood courts, and two all-purpose vinyl courts, that can be used for various sports or events.
Turf Fields
Our turf fields are broken up into three fields that are around 30x10 yards each that can be used for various sports and events.
Auditorium
Our auditorium can hold over 750 people sitting, and equipped with a full size projector and sound system.
Atrium
Our Atrium can host 120 people sitting, and equipped with a full size projector and sound system.
Aux Court
Our multi-purpose Auxiliary Court can hold around 100 people standing, and can be used for a wide range of events from dance practice, to team-building exercises.
Lounge
Our lounge can hold around 75 people be used for a wide range of events from baby showers, to tabling-style events.

Each space can be rented, as available, for a one off event or for a set period of time.
Membership
Our sports-based memberships grants access to our basketball courts and turf fields for just $15/month from 6am-1pm on weekdays.
